Caldera Kicks Off Linux/UNIX Power Solutions Tour 2000; City-to-City Tour Previews Future of Linux and UNIX, Provides Linux Training
OREM, UT: Nov 06, 2000 - Caldera Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: CALD) Monday announced its upcoming Linux/UNIX Power Solutions Tour 2000.
The tour begins Tuesday, Nov. 14 and runs through Dec. 12 in North America.
Targeting those who develop and deploy on Linux and UNIX -- including VARs, ASPs, ISVs, developers, resellers, consultants and corporate IT professionals -- the 12-city tour presents Caldera's vision of the future for Linux and UNIX and Linux training.
The Santa Cruz Operation Inc. (SCO) is a co-host of and participant in the tour. Other sponsors include Avnet Computer Marketing, Hall-Mark Division; Compaq; Enterasys Networks; FatPipe Networks; Hewlett-Packard; IBM and Sun Microsystems.
The tour describes the combined significance of Linux and UNIX technologies, the resulting advanced solutions built for the Internet, and Caldera's continued support of UnixWare, OpenServer and NSC.
