FatPipe Networks Racks Up Awards and Nominations for Innovation, Including SUPERCOMM's SUPERQuest Award

Salt Lake City, UT: June 1, 2001 - FatPipe® Networks, the leading developer of router clustering products for reliable, redundant and fast Internet/WAN connections, has been racking up awards and nominations for its innovative products and business strategies. FatPipe Networks was chosen as a finalist for a SUPERQuest Award, and Ragula Bhaskar, Ph.D., President and CEO, and Sanchaita Datta, CTO and Vice President of Engineering, have been acknowledge for their accomplishments by being nominated for two other awards.

FatPipe Networks was chosen as a finalist for a SUPERQuest, with a focus on FatPipe's innovative new products MPVPN and WARP released in May 2001. The SUPERQuest awards focus on honoring the best-built networks and most promising new technologies of this year. The event is presented by CMP Media's Tele.com, the Telecommunications Industry Association and the United States Telecom Association, who are sponsors of SUPERCOMM 2001.

Ms. Datta was nominated and awarded Utah Business Magazine's Woman Innovator 2001 Award and was featured in the March issue of Utah Business magazine. The article highlighted her success in creating a patented technology called Redundant Array of Independent Lines (RAIL), which is used in all FatPipe Networks router clustering products. She also was recently honored for her achievements as an engineer and innovator by the Women's Business Center at the Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.

A representative of Merrill Lynch nominated Dr. Bhaskar for Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur Of The Year Award, for his successful and innovative approach to running a business with a niche focus. Dr. Bhaskar is a finalist for the Utah Entrepreneur of the Year Award, the winner of which will be announced June 18, 2001.
