FatPipe Networks Releases MPVPN 2.0 Router Clustering Device To Provide The Highest Levels of Redundancy, Security and Speed For VPNs

Salt Lake City, UT: August 21, 2002 - FatPipe Networks™, the inventor of router clustering devices for reliable, redundant and fast Internet/WAN connections, announces the release of MPVPN version 2.0, which incorporates a new route management feature and a new interface. Enhancements to FatPipe's SmartDNS for inbound load balancing and line failover as well as an increase in total throughput for up to 155 Mbps has also been added.

FatPipe MPVPN is designed specifically to support VPN infrastructures as enabling technology, providing the highest level of redundancy, reliability, security, and speed for VPN tunnels. FatPipe is the first to market with a device that provides redundancy on VPN paths as well as additional security for bi-directional IP data transmissions over multiple connections using its patented Multi-Path Security technology (MPSecä). MPSec achieves up to 900 percent more security of data transmissions, making it extremely difficult for hackers to obtain information from the VPN illegally.

MPVPN's core functionality bonds any combination of multiple connections of T3, E3, T1, E1, DSL, Cable or Wireless connections to create a virtual "fatpipe" for aggregate speed. New Look: The GUI was redesigned to be more accommodating to Administrators to manage and make changes to FatPipe settings.
Higher Speeds: Multi-Path VPN is available in three speeds, 155 Mbps, 50Mbps, and 2Mbps.
