FatPipe SD-WAN

FatPipe SD-WAN (Software-Defined WAN)

Overview

FatPipe's Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN) products provide solutions for an easy migration to Hybrid WAN. FatPipe delivers companies the ability to centrally manage their wide area network, manage branch office configurations, and deploy appliances with the zero-touch installation. A company can easily add cost-effective direct Internet access at a branch to increase available bandwidth. FatPipe's advanced policy management allows cloud destined applications to be routed directly out of the local Internet connection while maintaining corporate security policies. Applications that are hosted in the corporation's private cloud also benefit from a FatPipe managed hybrid network.

FatPipe patented multi-path security, or MPSec, manages application flows, and load balances them across the multiple paths between the data center and remote site. With MPSec, network managers have incredible granular control of how the flows are load balanced. Factors such as latency, packet loss, jitter, and point-to-point bandwidth can all be used to dynamically load balance traffic, ensuring the best network experience possible for users. As an added bonus, in the event of a path failure sessions will not fail. This means that a VoIP call will not drop if there is a link outage; the call will have a sub-second failover to an available route. FatPipe SD-WAN comes in three tiers: SD-WAN Basic, SD-WAN Advanced, and SD-WAN Pro. Users can choose the appropriate tier for the features requested at each branch.

The FatPipe SD-WAN solution simplifies the deployment and management of connectivity at remote sites. Moreover, enterprises deploying FatPipe Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) products are not only provided with the ability to centrally control their WANs but also to manage branch office configurations. The appliances can be deployed with zero-touch installation. Traditionally, companies are not able to install WAN devices at sites due to provisioning delays, even if expedite fees were paid. These issues of provisioning delays are solved by SD-WAN through a centrally orchestrated overlay network that allows a business to select the best available underlay per location. The Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) central orchestrator allows companies to dynamically allocate bandwidth to improve performance of VOIP, video, and other business-related applications.

SD-WAN solutionsSD-WAN solutions resolve these issues in a simple step.

High-bandwidth application support: Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) solutions allow enterprises who are not willing to overprovision their network bandwidth, but use video conferencing and collaboration applications, to use as much bandwidth as they need when they need it and turn it off when they don't.

Accelerate branch office deployment: Enterprises can bring new offices online faster with SD-WAN solutions.

Policy-based forwarding: In cases of bandwidth limitation, Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) allows enterprises to prioritize their communications.

Enable the Internet-of-Things: The high-session counts, bandwidth requirements, and cloud connectivity needed for data-collection from smart sensors require an easy to deploy WAN solution. FatPipe Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) will support millions of connections from intelligent sensors and other devices.

Support Agile Workplaces: Enterprises have continuously changing needs of their WANs. Business-critical applications require intelligent routing of their traffic through multiple WAN links. Increased numbers of branch offices and remote users are becoming more common for companies. These facts drive organizations to find more efficient and low-cost techniques to add a variety of network connections. FatPipe Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) allows companies to manage these connections in a centralized software-controlled manner.

Hosted Managed Solution

FatPipe's Hosted SD-WAN Solutions enhance resiliency for businesses with zero-touch deployment, hosted management, and reporting. The FatPipe Orchestrator is hosted on a separate appliance from the FatPipe routing appliance. This management appliance can be hosted in the end-user's network data center or in a 3rd-party facility. The customer retains exclusive control of the orchestrator.

The remote symphony devices phone home and pull their policy and security configuration with no touch needed by remote personnel. Once configured, the remote devices continue to check with the orchestrator for configuration changes allowing the orchestrator to swiftly and automatically populate any policy or configuration changes throughout the network.

FatPipe-as-a-Service FatPipe-as-a-Service

FatPipe as a service

FatPipe enables cloud service providers and managed service providers to offer managed Hybrid WANs and intelligent multi-path control for WAN-as-a-Service.

The FatPipe orchestrator is hosted on an appliance inside of the MSP's cloud. This model allows for an MSP to have a single multi-tenant FatPipe orchestrator or multiple virtual FatPipe orchestrator appliances. Multiple customer data networks remain segmented while allowing a MSP to have a global overview of the customer base.
